The first menu board read "FRESH TODAY" — nonsense at a bakery, where everything is fresh today; no one buys a day-old croissant. We rewrote it to a real menu (Viennoiserie and breads with prices) and, crucially, built it as a separate gritty hand-chalked reference board — smudged, with erased ghost lines and a worn frame — instead of the too-clean board the model produces in a single shot. The owner is an actor reference; a Canon EOS R6 with an 85mm f/1.4 wide open melts the pendant lights and window into creamy bokeh while the pastries stay tack-sharp.
